Not a big story in a game when 9th rankedAhuachapan (5-11) lost on the road to fifth ranked Independiente (8-9) 101-92 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Darnell Johnson (201, college: CSUSB, agency: Gulf Coast Hoops) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Noryen Lasley (201, college: Ave Maria) accounted for 21 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. American forward Kordell Brown (203, college: Columbus St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds and added 28 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Ahuachapan in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Independiente maintains fifth place with 8-9 record, which they share with Santa Ana and Santa Tecla. Loser Ahuachapan keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost.
